The Fort Seafood and Pizzeria

The Fort Seafood and Pizzeria is a restaurant located adjacent to the historical Fort Jesus on Nkrumah Road. The restaurant identifies itself as a seafood and pizza restaurant but it has much more to offer. The menu items range from classic Swahili dishes to Indian, to salads and pasta. It also offers a wide array of drink from hot coffee to smoothies, juices and cocktails (do try the tamarind juice, it’s my favourite so far!) The Fort stands out in the restaurant scene in Mombasa being that it is locally owned and uses locally sourced produce for the ingredients.
